Christopher Melton
Portland, OR
Christopher has a BA in Fine Art and Art History, and an MFA in Film and Video Production. He is the co-founder of a small video collective, and is involved in a number of Portland, OR organizations working around low-income housing and LGBTQIA issues. He makes films, cares for animals, farms, and loves books. He believes that the world will only improve with free and easy access to information, and development of critical thinking skills. His research focus is in media archives, exploring how information, technology, and people interact, and how library professionals can use these intersections to cultivate positive change in the world.
