Nonprofit Status
SCALA Oregon is not currently registered as a nonprofit, although it has been in the past. After incorporating in 2008, the Board of Directors later determined it was not financially sound to continue, as the cost of filing an annual tax-exempt status increased beyond SCALA’s budget, dissolving the status in 2010.
