Gresham, OR

Jennifer considers herself a “recovering television news producer,” after spending nearly a decade in the profession before pursuing a career in library and information science.

She graduated from Oregon State University with a B.A. in New Media Communications in June 2008. Jennifer’s worked for KVAL-TV in Eugene, KATU-TV and KPTV Fox 12 Oregon in Portland and KOVR/KMAX-TV in Sacramento, California.

But years of working graveyard shifts combined with increasingly stressful newsroom environments led Jennifer to rekindle her love of libraries. She’s now seeking an MLS degree from Emporia State University through its distance education program in Portland, Oregon, with graduation anticipated in Summer of 2020.
